Too expensive for what it is. Bathroom not up to standard, tiles cracked and some mould to be seen,. Internet an hour. Advertised wireless hot spot in foyer but that isn't the case now. No atmosphere.

What a shock to return to my native country and stay in such a forlorn and badly serviced accomodation. Having to drag my very heavy suitcase up a flight of stairs as there was no elevator or assistance. The room was cramped (too many beds) and cold - no heating. The bathroom/showers were on the next floor up and were not clean. There were tea and coffee making facilities but no milk. I asked the person in the office if she could order me a taxi for the next day and she told me to do it myself but there was no phone in my room.
She knocked off work at 10pm and there was no-one on duty until 7am. That meant I couldn't ask for an early morning call as I had to rise at 4am to catch my 9. 15am flight back to Hobart. This meant that from about 1. 30am onwards I woke every hour to check my watch. I paid extra for a luxurious hotel room with bathroom, phone etc. For 3 people in San Francisco and got free breakfast and shuttle service to train and airport.
Excellent. Not enough time to enjoy it all though.

Property had no lift. My room was on 3rd floor and I am 74 years old. No mention of this in website info. 2. TV did not work properly on free to air stations. Complained but told repair man doesn't like to fix these jobs. Why is this MY problem? 3. Staff were not english literate - found it difficult to communicate. 4. This place is primarily for backpackers - younger people would be Ok althougth they also found the stair climb difficult.
Advertised cafe was closed for renovations. Foxtel was only 3 sports channels and TV1. Not advertised as 'limited Foxtel'. No remote control for tv. Ceiling lamp had no shade fixed - it was in the wardrobe. Jug provided for making coffee, but the only way to fill it with water was from the shower, or by the cupful from the hand basin. Could only reach shower taps by standing in the shower cubicle.
Considerable soap scum build up in corners. Only one drinking glass provided - double room (there were 2 cups). Information folder was falling to pieces and pages roughly bunched in no particular order. Parking was barely adequate. Bedspread was old (though appeared to be clean) but was only a double size on a queen size bed. There was a tall tree outside the window which had bunches of 'berries' or seed pods of some kind.
These were continually banging (loudly) on the outside housing of the air conditioner when the wind blew. Overall impression was of a lack of attention to detail.
No comments applicable. Our stay had been planned around specific activities.

The service of the front desk staff at this hotel was attrocious. They were unhelpful, unfriendly, and generally rude. The only saving grace was one delightful and helpful concierge staff member - Sanjeeb. He was the only person that made us feel remotely welcome and special. There was a pillow menu next to the bed and when we rang to order one (because the ones provided were terrible), they told us that they dont have any other pillows.
Why would you provide a pillow menu if you cant provide them?! I certainly wouldnt stay here again, and would not recommend it to anyone I know.

Kettle & TV remote did not work. Dinner was roast beef. Can't do much wrong with that but beef was tough and veges undercooked & meal was cold. Fan in the bathroom cannot be turned off & rattles alnight.

The room we stayed in was electrically unsafe. The power point in the back room was completely detached from the wall and was hanging on by a single red electrical wire. An electrician wouldn't have to tell you that is was dangerous. The shower would not stay in place and kept falling down and the hot water tap in the kitchen was in need of a new washer and handle. The hot water tap in the bathroom also needed a new washer as it was leaking if it wasn't turned off tight.
The fan over the stove was also in need of a good clean. It would have been nice to have had the detergent bottle replaced in the kitchen once it was used up and empty.

The spa room that we stayed in was very nice. However there was a hotel function on the saturday night with very loud music playing till past midnight. This, coupled with the overwhelming smell of fertilizer of a morning did not add to the romantic weekend we had planned.
The Blue Mountains were spectacular, a must if staying around the area, a few crouds at Katoomba but some of the longer walks scare off most of the tourists.
