I thought the prices of the food in the restaurant were too dear and they didn't cater meals for children.

Room and location great
Room was very quiet and comfortable. Only thing we didn't like was our beds. Both single beds were too hard - like there was a wide ridge down the centres.
We stayed for 2 nights. We went to see a show at Lyric Theatre (Buddy Holly) and crammed in visit to Powerhouse museum (Star Wars display was FANTASTIC), Aquariam, Australian Wildlife Zoo, Chinese Garden.

Clean & Comfortable
Old and dated but clean and tidy. Will stay again if needed to be in that part of town.

Great Value, Location and Hospitality
The hotel has a very nice lobby and it is evident care is taken to make the place look good and not shabby in any way. Check in and out was very easy and organised. Most of the young staff behind the counter did not smile though or offer much interaction other than doing their jobs, which they did well.
The room a bit small but cozy. The bed was very comfortable and had a generous amount of pillows.
Downside, we saw a roach in the room, the shower had very poor water pressure and the bathroom sink and tile around the tub needed a good scrub. Otherwise the room and linens were clean although there were no wash cloths. The television had a lot of channels but reception was bad.
All in all I would stay at this hotel again because of the location and the fact it was evident they tried to make it a good place to stay.
This hotel is conveniently located close to the Sydney Entertainment Centre the CBD as well as Central Station and Chinatown with tons of restaurants, pubs, cafe's, theatres, cultural centres and shopping. The Capital theatre is right across the steet and Paddy's Market a 6 minute walk away. The area was bustling with people and felt safe.

Our second visit, location is excellent, studio apartment ideal for length of stay, will be back again

good stay
This hotel may not be the most plush place but it is well kept up and very clean. Central to parrammatta, olympic park, races, local shopping & clubs. Very good price , good food and service. Will stay there again.

Great place to stay, clean and neat and close to everything particularly when on foot.
I don't mind old but I insist on clean. This motel was very comfortable, looked like it may have recently had a makeover which was very stylish and it was very clean. My only concern was the bathroom floor was particularly slippery. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay immensely.
We have never done so much walking. We visited quite a few historical sites including the breathtaking St Mary's Cathedral, a very spiritual experience. We did a Gourmet Safari Greek Walking tour which was a full day and fabulous and dined by the waterfront at Wolfies before flying home. A memorable weekend.

cosy but comfy....
We think we drew the short-straw for the smallest double-room in the hotel - but as it happens, our 'box-room' was very comfy. No grumbles! Service was excellent - everyone was most helpful, which could not be said about the grumpy Sydney taxi-driver we encountered after arriving from NZ - we KNEW we should have taken the bus, with it's very friendly driver! We will know next time.
No comments for here - we were just overnighting before proceeding home to the south coast the next day.

Nicely situated. Handy to all amenities, church, restaurants, walk to next suburb - bondi. Clean hotel and staff very accommodating. Having the parking facility certainly is a plus.
Good location. Beach, shops, restaurants, plenty of walks one can undertake around the area. Very vibrant area.

Customer service great but I will not be staying again.
The customer service was excellent, I couldn't fault it, however the room was very ordinary. It was very dusty which caused havoc with me. I'll find somwhere else next time I think.
