Under beds have not been cleaned for a few months. Bins not emptied, dishwasher was not plugged in, mould around sink basin. Windows not clean. Air conditioner did not work. Location great and size. Just generally cleanliness not up to par and not maintained well enough. Staff very friendly.

It's ok, but a little bit boring, nothing special in the neighborhood. Staff is not very friendly. Train to Sydney CBD takes one hour from Glenfield station where you find parking sites (5 min. By car from the hotel). Choose this hotel if you can't find anything else more nearby the central area (I guess you are interested in Sydney, not the suburb Kiverpool).

The hotel is located near Blue Mountains (Sydney). Also near Westfield Shopping Centre, and railway station and catching train to sydney central station is easy. I Would stay at Prenith Valley Inn again in the future trip to Sydney.
Penrith city is very nice place and it is one of the best suburbs in Sydney and easy to get around and free flowing traffic.

Our room was nice and quiet, located towards the back of the building. I would advise asking for one that does not face the main road which is quite busy. Bed was comfortable, everything in it was very clean & satisfactory and it has kitchen facilities if you feel inclined to cook light meals. Car parking in the basement is free.
Sydney doesn't need much description. Always a must-see for tourists. The NY Eve fireworks were spectacular!

I stayed at this property from 29th July and checked out on the morning of 2nd July. During my stay I found the staff at reception were very helpful and professional. They spoke gently and courtiesly. The rooms were modern and very clean. The complementary breakfast was a great idea and probably the one which made me decide to book at yours rather than another. The Gym was adequate however some dumbell weights would be great for regular gym gowers like myself. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and would be choosing you for my next stay in that area as well. I did find that the room access key started to malfunction a number of times during my 3 day stay and I had to take them down to the reception to get it programmed again. That may be something worth looking into. Thank you for your services. When accomodation is so nice and service is great, it makes your holiday go better.
I was only visiting friends in this area. I was not all that interested in the attractions. I did go to the City or a Harbour Cruise and we went for drives around the area. It was great.

While I enjoyed the night at StarCity, we had ordered a meal at 3am (it was a late night). The food was cold. Th garlic bread was mostly very dry except for one end that was 'drenched' with liquid. The (if you can call them) chips were totally dehydrated and the bread for the club sandwich was like rubber.
When we complained about the food, a very nice girl came to our room and explained that the food was meant to be that way, as that is how the chef cooks it !!!!
She further explained that there are very few complaints about the ood and she believed that because there are very few complaints, the food must be good. I explained to her that 99% of people who are served bad food don't complain, they just don't come back.
We were not given a refund for the food - but were permitted to check out 2 hours later than normal.
Overall, I would rate the Hotel 10/10 but food would be 0/10.
I would also tell people to stay at StarCity - Just don't eat there......if it's possible.
I live in the Southern Highlands in NSW. I only stayed in "the city" because of an 18th.
I'm really not a tourist - type of person, so I'm not one to ask about such things.

We found the Sebel Surrey Hills a convenient location for our sydney stay. Handy to everything, quiet and pleasant.
Sydney is a cornucopia of wonderful things to do. Eating at a variety of restaurants fro The RockPool Bar and Grill, to ethnic in Oxford street. The art galleries both private and public are stunning Circular Quay athe perfect place to watch the world go by.

The hotel was very nice. Breakfast however at the hotel was very overpriced, and there were fruit flies hovering about. The windows in the room should be thicker (insulated or doubled pained) to block street noise better.

Advertised cafe was closed for renovations. Foxtel was only 3 sports channels and TV1. Not advertised as 'limited Foxtel'. No remote control for tv. Ceiling lamp had no shade fixed - it was in the wardrobe. Jug provided for making coffee, but the only way to fill it with water was from the shower, or by the cupful from the hand basin. Could only reach shower taps by standing in the shower cubicle.
Considerable soap scum build up in corners. Only one drinking glass provided - double room (there were 2 cups). Information folder was falling to pieces and pages roughly bunched in no particular order. Parking was barely adequate. Bedspread was old (though appeared to be clean) but was only a double size on a queen size bed. There was a tall tree outside the window which had bunches of 'berries' or seed pods of some kind.
These were continually banging (loudly) on the outside housing of the air conditioner when the wind blew. Overall impression was of a lack of attention to detail.
No comments applicable. Our stay had been planned around specific activities.

The service of the front desk staff at this hotel was attrocious. They were unhelpful, unfriendly, and generally rude. The only saving grace was one delightful and helpful concierge staff member - Sanjeeb. He was the only person that made us feel remotely welcome and special. There was a pillow menu next to the bed and when we rang to order one (because the ones provided were terrible), they told us that they dont have any other pillows.
Why would you provide a pillow menu if you cant provide them?! I certainly wouldnt stay here again, and would not recommend it to anyone I know.

The hotel is good rooms ok however the room had a bad smell of smoke the entire stay. I asked for non smoking! the mini bar was not refilled at all.

Hotel looked great from outside - but inside the terrace apartments - very old fashioned (pre 1960s) - decor terrible - said slept 4 (bed sofa) but the sofa was SO uncomfortable it is disgraceful they list as a sleeping arrangement. Hotel amenities out or order - no heated pool or spa and no sauna available. Would not stay here again.

For a place so close to Bondi Beach it was excellent. Bondi has a lot of grotty accommodation. This isn't one of them. It's very basic - bed, bathroom, TV - but it is friendly, clean, has good security and very pleasant walk into the business district of Bondi and of course, the beach.
Bondi is a microcosm of beachside life in Australia. It's pretty Gen Y grungy these days but there are remnants of its art deco hey day. It's one of those must see places of course but the Gold Coast is cleaner, more modern, has heaps more facilities and adventures and much nicer accommodation options. Spend a day at Bondi, spend a week at the Gold Coast.

Very helpfull staff, very clean units. Would definatley use again. If there is 4 or more, and you need a Maxi cab to get around, book well in advance. Optional breakfast a bit ordinary and overpriced.
